Step 1

Technical Review and Plagiarism Check

Maximum 10 days

The manuscript is examined by the editor for compliance with journal publication principles, academic writing rules and APA 7th edition, and the similarity report obtained via Turnitin is reviewed. The similarity rate must be less than 20%. If the article does not meet the publication principles or is not of the expected quality, it may be rejected by the editor without assigning a reviewer.

Step 2

Field Editor Review

Maximum 15 days
The work that passes the Preliminary Review and Plagiarism Check stage is examined by the relevant field editor in terms of academic language-style, research method and results achieved.
Step 3

Peer Review Process

Maximum 3 months
The work that passes the field editor's review is submitted for evaluation by two reviewers who are experts in the subject and have at least a doctorate degree. The review process is conducted confidentially in accordance with the double-blind review principle. The field editor ensures mutual communication between the author and the reviewer while maintaining confidentiality. If both reviewer reports are positive, the work is submitted to the Editorial Board with a proposal to evaluate its publication. If one of the two reviewers expresses a negative opinion, the work is sent to a third reviewer. Works can be published with the positive decision of at least two reviewers.
Step 4

Revision Stage

Maximum 15 days (may extend up to 1 month depending on the intensity of corrections)
If the reviewers request a revision in the article they examined, the relevant article is sent back to the author and they are asked to revise their work. The author either marks the changes made on the article or presents them to the field editor in a separate document.
Step 5

Field Editor Check

Maximum 10 days
The field editor checks whether the author has made the requested corrections in the article. Then anonymizes the documents sent by the author and sends them to the reviewer.
Step 6

Reviewer Check

Maximum 7 days
The reviewer who requested the revision checks whether the author has made the requested corrections in the text.
Step 7

Editorial Board Review

Articles that pass technical, academic and linguistic reviews are examined by the Editorial Board and the final publication status is decided. In case of objection from members, the Board decides by majority vote.
Step 8

Typesetting and Layout Stage

The works decided to be published by the Editorial Board are typeset and laid out and made ready for publication.
Step 9

Data Submission to National and International Indexes

Within 15 days
Articles of the published issue are submitted to indexes within 15 days.
